问候/开场白

不管使用何种语言,会议的基本机构通常是一致的。并且会议通常多会以问候开始!在英语中,你将使用更正式的"Good morning"或"Good afternoon"而不是"hello."接着,如果你是召开会议的人,你将需要宣布会议正式开始。例如 i>"Good morning.It looks like everyones here, so lets get started."

陈述会议目的

接着,你必须提醒每个人此次会议的目的是将谈论那些商务内容。如果你是负责人的话,就说:"Our goal today is..."你还可能听到的短语有"Our goal today is..."或是 i>"Ive called this meeting to..."然后以简短的解释结束。例如"Were here today to discuss last quarters sales figures."

回顾以往的商务情况

因为会议常常是用来处理一些正在进行的商务,你必须在提出新的内容

前回顾一下以前的一些信息。这就是为什么某人将会朗读 minutes from the previous meeting。Minutes 是会议的一份正式记录。在朗读记录前要说"To begin, lets quickly go over the minutes from our last meeting.""Go over"的意思是回顾某事并常使用在商务语言中。

介绍日程表和需要讨论的内容

现在是谈论新的商务内容的时间了,一份谈论内容清单称做"agenda."会议的召开者将大家的注意集中到 agenda.上。他们会说"Please look at your copy of the agenda.There are xx items on the list today.Lets start with number xx."

然后,成功的会议关键是使之按项目一一进行。该移向下一项内容时,就说"Now that weve discussed..., lets move on to...""Move on"通常用在商务场合中意思是开始新的议题。

结束会议

结束会议需要一些短语:总结谈论过的议题,感谢各位的出席,并且宣布散会。这并不难!要总结的话,就可以以"To sum up, weve determined the sales figures could be better and discussed solutions."然后,感谢大家的出席"Thank you all for attending/coming."Let everyone know its okay to leave with, "The meeting is finished."最后,如果今后还会有会议的话就可以说,"Well see everyone next..."

1、Getting the Chairperson’s Attention 引起会议主席的注意 (Mister/Madam) chairman. May I have a word? If I may, I think... Excuse me for interrupting. May I come in here?

2、Giving Opinions 表达意见 I’m positive that... I (really) feel that... In my opinion... The way I see things... If you ask me,... I tend to think that... Asking for Opinions 询问意见 Are you positive that... Do you (really) think that...

(name of participant) can we get your input? How do you feel about...?

3、Commenting 做出评论 That’s interesting . I never thought about it that way before. Good point! I get your point. I see what you mean.

4、Agreeing 表示同意 I totally agree with you. Exactly! That’s (exactly) the way I feel. I have to agree with (name of participant).

5、Disagreeing 表示异议 Unfortunately, I see it differently. Up to a point I agree with you, but... (I’m afraid) I can’t agree

6、Advising and Suggesting 提出建议 Let’s... We should... Why don’t you.... How/What about...

I suggest/recommend that...

7、Clarifying 澄清 Let me spell out... Have I made that clear? Do you see what I’m getting at? Let me put this another way... I’d just like to repeat that...

8、Requesting Information 请求信息 Please, could you... I’d like you to... Would you mind... I wonder if you could...

9、Asking for Repetition 请求重复

I’m afraid I didn’t understand that. Could you repeat what you just said? I didn’t catch that. Could you repeat that, please? I missed that. Could you say it again, please? Could you run that by me one more time?

10、Asking for Clarification 要求澄清

I don’t quite follow you. What exactly do you mean? I’m afraid I don’t quite understand what your are getting at. Could you explain to me how that is going to work? I don’t see what you mean. Could we have some more details, please?

11、Asking for Verification 请求确认

You did say next week, didn’t you? (’did’ is stressed) Do you mean that...? Is it true that...?

12、Asking for Spelling 请求拼写 Could you spell that, please? Would you mind spelling that for me, please?

13、Asking for Contributions 请求赐教

We haven’t heard from you yet, (name of participant). What do you think about this proposal? Would you like to add anything, (name of participant)? Has anyone else got anything to contribute? Are there any more comments?

14、Correcting Information 更正

Sorry, I think you misunderstood what I said. Sorry, that’s not quite right. I’m afraid you don’t understand what I’m saying. That’s not quite what I had in mind. That’s not what I meant.

15、Keeping the Meeting On Target (time, relevance, decisions) 转入正题 We’re running short of time. Well, that seems to be all the time we have today.

Please be brief. I’m afraid we’ve run out of time. I’m afraid that’s outside the scope of this meeting. Let’s get back on track, why don’t we? That’s not really why we’re here today. Why don’t we return to the main focus of today’s meeting. We’ll have to leave that to another time. We’re beginning to lose sight of the main point. Keep to the point, please.
