上述六例，基本上包括了各种开场白。例①是比较完整的现场叙述式开场白，包含了问候、欢迎、自我介绍、祝愿、游览目的等诸多内容。例②是比较简略的现场叙述式开场白，虽然简略，但是却利用了名人效应使开场的表白有声有色，情趣盎然。例③是在到达古窑瓷厂之前表达的预设式开场白，简洁明快，以重重的悬念引起游客极大的兴趣。例④是现场叙述式开场白，除了必要的问候、欢迎、祝愿之外，着重强调了将要游览的主要内容和景点，清晰明了，目的明确，重点突出。例 ⑤、例⑥是现场抒情式开场白，导游员饱含深情，激情满怀地赞美了西湖、天池，优美抒情，真挚动人。
上述各种开场白，虽然可以从不同的角度进行不同的归类，但是它们的基本内容其实大同小异。所以，开场白并没有一成不变的定规，重要的是要能够体现对游客的尊敬之情、关切之意以及突出游览目的的要义。最后要注意，开场白不能故弄玄虚，否则不仅会使开场白显得多余，也可能会使游客反感。比如:各位朋友:今天我们将要游览的是一处独具特色的旅游景点，它位于北京城的中心，殿宇千门万户，楼阁巍峨庄严，红墙黄瓦，金碧辉煌，素有“金色的宫殿之海”的美称。您一定猜到了，这就是驰名中外的故宫博物院。(《故宫博物院(中轴线)导游辞》)这一段解说，明明是只能在故宫进行现场讲解的导游辞的开场白，却云山雾罩地绕着弯子请游客猜测是什么地方，真是多此一举。这样的开场白在导游辞中要加以杜绝。
